Weight Limit

 

· 8,500 lb

 

 

Stock Turbo

 

· This means it must come on a one-ton or smaller pickup.

 

· Stock appearing turbo must be in the factory location and use the factory manifold. (Duramax, Cummins, Powerstroke) with a FACTORY HOLSET COVER AND STOCK EXHAUST HOUSING.

 

· Absolutely no modifications to turbo. This means FACTORY EVERYTHING, including T-3 mount (except wastegate)

 

 

Intake

 

· Must be stock. No cutting allowed or any external modifications.

 

 

Hanging Weight

 

· Not permitted

 

 

Front Bump Stops

 

· Front bump stops are not permitted.

 

 

No Injectables

 

· This means no nitrous, water, alcohol. Nothing other than diesel fuel.

 

 

Tires

 

· 35’ single and 33” on factory duallys.

 

 

Traction Bars

 

· Allowed, but it must be no more than a 2-bolt setup. One to the frame and the other to rearend housing. No ladder bar or trussed rear end.

 

· If you have traction bars you must run safety loops on bars.

 

 

Rear Bump Stops

 

· Are permitted. NO solid welded rear ends.

 

 

Hitch

 

· Must be a factory Reese hitch

 

· Must bold onto the frame.

 

· Roll pan hitches are allowed.

 

· Hitch must be no further forward than 44 in center of read end to hook up point.

 

· No attachments to hitch, no bars to rear end.

 

· Tech will have final say on everyone’s hitch, whether it is deemed legal or not.

 

· 24 Inch hitch height limit

 

 

Exhaust

 

· Must face upward. Simple 90 degree elbow to factory exhaust permitted.

 

 

 

**MUST BE FEDERAL HIGHWAY LEGAL: This means the truck must be legal to drive on a federal highway.

 

The tech official or SOSH official has the right to tech or pull down pipe for random inspection of exhaust side of the turbocharger. Disqualification will forfeit any monetary winnings.

 

The tech official has the final ruling on any rules the day of the event.

 

MUST WEAR HELMET  AND HAVE A FIRE EXTINGUISHER INSIDE THE TRUCK.

 

NO RIDERS. DRIVER’S ONLY. A TRUCK CAN ONLY BE REGISTERED TO ONE CLASS AND ONE DRIVER.
